“I’m sorry, Earth is closed today.” – Tony Stark. What a crazy idea. Planet Earth, being closed. It just doesn’t seem like it could ever happen. But for now during 2020, that idea turned into reality thanks in part to COVID-19. We all thought we were gonna have an extended Spring break. But those extra days turned to weeks, which turned to months, and now we have even started school online. Not a good look.
The beginning of quarantine mostly consisted of doing the same things I did on the weekends. Sit on the computer and hang out with my friends. Many hours of my day were spent in front of a screen. But since I had friends to interact with, it wasn’t too terrible and in fact, it was actually pretty fun having all this free time. But after a few months I started to really miss school. The people, the classrooms, the atmosphere, the walks I would have with friends after school, were all things I wish I could do. Everyday became more and more mundane. It was a constant cycle of waking up, going on the computer for a while, eating, sitting back down, then sleeping. The next time I would see my friends was just last month in September. It was a great time hanging out like usual, of course following guidelines for COVID. It was really refreshing being able to see the people I normally saw every day. I really took that for granted. But here we are now, October, still in quarantine. Who knows how much longer we’ll have to wait until we’re all safe to go back.
A TONY STARK QUOTE THAT APPLIES! Love it

This is so relatable. I definitely took school days and hangouts for granted. Who knows when things will be “normal.”
