Big waves, small waves

Short waves, tall waves

Some are dark, some are light, some are aqua green

Some land on shores with chilly fog, some on a tropical island

Each one of us is different

Each one of us is special: unique

But we all come from one great ocean

We are all made of the same water, the same salt

In the end, we all return back to the same ocean

We go where the wind takes us

Sometimes we try to resist,

But we let go and be one with the wind, going wherever it takes us

We painfully crash against the shores

Sometimes, we become monstrous and frightening, a tsunami

But at the end of the day, we are all the waves of the same ocean
