Back to the Good Days

I still remember living carefree as a kid. Running through the streets with my friends, without a single thought about anything else, only my friends and I, and the wind rushing against our face. But ever since I entered high schools, things took a drastic swerve. I went from living in the moment, to stressing about the past, present, and the future. All of a sudden I was drowned in responsibilities. With school, chores, sports, there has never been a spare minute. Not to mention the sad reality that high school defines your academic future. One mistake in any class could result in the devastation of your entire career. Now with the addition of Covid-19 and quarantine, the stress never seems to end. Before I could barely make time to see my friends, but now I am confined to my own house. I wish life could be simpler. I wish we could go back to the good days.

  1. It’s crazy how in a journey, you don’t realize when it changes or when it overcomplicates. There is no solid date, we just kind of realize it at some point. The good old days are nice, but the future has possibilities, so maybe you can make the future better for you. Good luck
