The New Normal

Now that we have been in quarantine for over fifty days, it has become the new normal. Before quarantine started, I rarely had time to eat breakfast. After school was canceled, I tried out new recipes to fill the time. I made homemade bagels which turned out really well, and started having them for breakfast most days. Eating a quality, homemade breakfast became my new reality, which really shows how maybe quarantine has some upsides. Some aspects of my new, normal routine, like what I eat for breakfast, are actually improvements compared to life before the quarantine. It will be very interesting to see what everybody’s normal routine will go back to after quarantine; somethings might have changed for the better and won’t go back to the way they were before.
