It was quarantine that led me to discover my newfound talent, cooking. I used to eat whatever my mom had made me, or just whatever I saw lying around, but with this time that I have been granted, I have been cooking up new foods. Here are two meals I made for Mother’s day today:
During this pandemic, I have been taking better care of myself and eating healthily. Unlike school, I eat THREE meals a day everyday now and I simply feel great. Looking back at my relationship with food in the past and the effects it had on me, it was not all that great, I LOVE food, but I just never prioritized the time to make or have it. I literally had one big meal per day at 3:00 PM on school days even though I had Badminton practice in the morning at 6:30 AM.
It should also be noted that, I did survive off of one meal everyday, but I was always feeling tired along with my poor sleep schedule, so fixing up these meals have given me the energy I needed while enjoying my poor sleep schedule.
I also got grounded for one week from my phone so I will be taking my time to explore and create dishes of different cuisines during this unfortunate period of time.

This is corn cheese, a popular Korean side-dish
So after discovering my culinary skills, I think I will utilize those skills more often especially during this time to help keep my family and myself fed and healthy. And I think it is important that everyone else takes after what I am doing by simply eating three meals a day, it will make a difference in your life for sure.
So please stay healthy and well-fed during this time!
Wow. That looks GREAT.
