This is a message to my teachers.

Dear teachers,

This was one tough year to get through, but we did it! The connection to our cell phones and other technological devices increased exponentially which was forced due to the circumstances. There were times that social media was the only “social” outlet we had even though social media is the farthest you’ll get to socializing. Being able to take a step back and appreciate that we are living life, and we’re very fortunate to be around such amazing people is a blessing. Personally, I’ve learned to appreciate life more throughout this year. I spent a lot of time with my family and watched new movies that I never knew about. School was tough especially not having friends around but the time flew and now it’s summer time. I’m so glad that I made it through and I couldn’t have done it without my wonderful teachers. They were kind, compassionate, and understanding. Though they were going through the motions of the challenging year as well, they didn’t make us feel any of the negativity they might’ve been feeling in private. They were always asking us about how we’re doing, being understanding of hard situations we were going through, and always being open to talk about anything. I appreciate all of the hard work my teachers have put in this year, they’ve inspired me to improve some aspects of my life. Additionally, I’ve learned to be present and in the moment from now on as I’ve seen that time passes by so fast.
