My Year Final Reflection

Angie’s Year

So what did I do?

  • I learned to study online
  • I was able to attend school during a pandemic
  • Wore a mask leaving the house
  • Ended up getting Covid
  • Learned to speak for myself
  • Learned to manage my time
  • Change my view points on who friends really were
  • Met amazing people online
  • Helped out at home
  • Babysit a lot for my mom
  • Built a gaming PC
  • Broke my Macbook
  • Found out what I wanted to do for the future
  • Learned that I couldn’t do math online

These were just a few things that I have done all in a series of bullet points. Throughout this year, I learned many things whether it was in or out of school but the main thing I kept in mind was about meeting people and their true selves. For a long time I didn’t really it was just the people around me hurting me and I let it slide for most of the time because I thought it was normal. But, day came where I decided to stick up for myself and was able to cut them off. I’ve been a lot happier these past months because in this year I found out what was good for me and to care for myself more. I stopped mourning over useless friendships in which I was never cared about. Instead, I found new people this year, ones who actually cared. It was a weird sight at first being treated so well but my mind opened letting me interacts with others better. I learned that just because people went to school together and became friends, doesn’t mean it’ll last as long as you may think. Even my best friend from school now! We’ve been quit distance but she always sticks with me no matter what. For the other people all I can say is, where did they go? Being online this whole year helped me see who stays to the end and who will stick by your side.
