Dear future me,
Hello to me whenever you’re reading this. I hope you’re doing well and have accomplished our dreams! Whatever you’ve gotten yourself into I believe you’ll succeed. (Hopefully a surgeon by the time you’re reading this) This past year and a half was really tough but I’m proud of you for getting through it. You’ve learned so many new things. You learned in all of your classes but more importantly, you bettered yourself. You learned the value of self care and the importance of staying true to yourself. However, moving forward, I want you to continue this path of improvement. You still have quite a few things to work on. I want you to fix your bad habits like procrastination and poor time management. Moving forward I want you to keep in mind that this was probably one of the hardest years in your life and if you made it through this year you can make through anything. I know you don’t always feel like you’re in the best place but you can’t blame other people for the situations that you’re in. This at the time is my new favorite saying. “It is what it is.” I know you have the mental toughness to just keep chugging along no matter what hits you. Keep those friends that raise you up and support you. Anyways, bye for now, I hope wherever you are when you’re reading this you’ve become a better person and learned new things.
Sincerely,
Past Dzinh (Sophomore)
