This has been quite an interesting and chaotic year to have lived through. Many people had plans which were completely changed or did not even happen. Due to the nature of shutting down the world, many people despised the current situation. However, now that things are opening back up, I would like to bring attention to the new revelations in society which came from such a year.

Many changes can be seen through society in its current state. With people in America wearing facial masks to protect those around them. Although it was common within some cultures to wear a mask if you were not feeling well, it has spread to the U.S. and we might see more of it within the future.

Another change which will most likely be kept from such a year will be the more constant use of disinfectant such as hand sanitizer and other cleaning agents. This could lower the hard-hitting flu season and the general spread of germs.

Finally, I would like to bring attention to the younger population as a demographic. With the dense population in schools and the frequency of close contact, It would be interesting to see how schools move back into full swing into the future. On a similar note, online schooling might become more prevalent based on different factors such as the ease of access without having to arrive in person.

In all, this year had brought new challenges and adaptations we as a community were able to adapt to and overcome. Even if many things were changed, we can be sure that we will come out better than we had originally begun.
