Something that’s gotten me through 2020-2021 is my Comfy. You might be wondering, what is a Comfy? In short, it’s basically a blanket you can wear! It was created by two brothers and was launched on Shark Tank in 2017. Because of the pandemic, more and more people have joined in on this COVID-19 fashion trend. I can confirm that this blanket, oversized hoodie, dress, or whatever you want to call it, truly lives up to its name.

Besides keeping me warm all day, it has helped me get through the past year and has still continued to serve its purpose. If I’m being honest, it’s probably one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. My mom was a little hesitant about buying me the Comfy at first due to its large size. Yes, sometimes she still thinks that there’s a monster roaming around the house, but I’m pretty sure she’s gotten used to it by now. I’m not exaggerating when I say I wear it everyday, which is why it was very comforting to me throughout the past year (don’t worry, I do wash it on the weekends). To me, not only is my Comfy a symbol of this online school year, it also holds many great memories that I’ll never forget. As the temperature begins to heat up, this school year is coming to an end, and that means my Comfy will have to go into my closet. It won’t be gone for long though; my Comfy will be worn again in the next school year, bringing old memories and new ones to come!
