Racism and Social Justice

As I was reading the graphic novel “They Called us Enemy” by George Takei, These people sacrificed so much for us to make the world a better place. People take life as granted and they need to realize that there is so much in life then they have known.

The book talks about racism and social injustice, which is still a huge problem to this day. Recently, the Asian hate crimes and the wrongful killing of George Floyd, sparked a plug which caused protests and riots. To this day people are STILL being judged by the color of their skin and it’s just wrong.

I feel like people should be educated about racism and how it effects the world as a whole. They need to know that in order for a change to happen, we must speak up and use minimal violence.

“Actions speak louder then words”- John Pym

This is a good example of using the famous quote “Actions speak louder then words.” When you suggest that actions speak louder than words, you’re implying that people’s actions, rather than what they think, reveal their true feelings. This word can be used to encourage others to do something good.

Coming back from my argument, just because you are a different skin color from someone else doesn’t mean that you should be treated different then others. I feel like people with different skin color, origin, and etc.
