This is my presentation on why Costco Hot Dogs are the best hot dogs. Here is a picture of James Sinegal who is the founder of Costco. The reason why I’m making this presentation is because I want to give reasons and inform people about the greatness of these hot dogs and why they should choose this as their hot dog choice. My three supporting claims were cost, amazing taste, and the convenience of buying it.

So my first claim was low price. These are two separate articles talking about how the CEO of Costco wanted to raise the price of the hot dogs but the Founder refused and shut down the idea saying they wanted to keep the prices low. And so therefore, we have the price of $1.50 where you can get a soda along with it too. As you can see, the dollar 50 price has been the same ever since the founding of Costco. But is this low price a scam? No, not at all. Research has shown that even if the low price stays the same, the company will never have to go through inflation and that business will always do well. Around 100,000,000 hot dogs get bought a year and if you do the math, that’s still a lot money despite the low price.

My second claim is the amazing test. So this is a video here, I’ll summarize it for you. It’s just about a person who went to Costco to try all the found and in the video, the person said themselves that they don’t really like eating hot dogs in general but after they tried the Costco hot dog, they said it was really good and they enjoyed eating it. So right here is a screenshot from an article which was ranking these different brands of hot dogs. In first place, we have the Costco Kirkland beef hot dogs and basically, the person writing the article was saying about how the taste of these hot dogs was really nostalgic and you could feel like Summer was coming or that you were at a baseball game while eating these hot dogs. Here is a picture of the menu. As you can see here, the price is $1.50 and even though it was a low price, the taste was still in great quality. If you search up any type of slander against Costco food, you might not find a lot because people tend to typically enjoy eating the food.

My last claim was the convenience. So let’s say you’re just going to Costco to buy essentials such as food, clothes, books, or anything like that. Then after you’re done shopping, you could simply just take a couple more steps in and boom, here at the food court. It’s really close by, and you don’t need to walk that far. There’s always a seating area near the food court, and it’s really convenient. So after you buy food, you can just go eat right away and you don’t have to find any kind of seating area because it’s just right there, inside or outside. But now due to COVID, there aren’t that many lines in the food court anymore because they won’t allow it. Social distancing, masks, empty, a lot of that stuff. Things are different, times are changing, but still Costco manages to bring food to people. Even though you’re not really there to buy it or sit down and eat, it will still taste good.

But what about Wiener Schnitzel? Yes, Wiener Schnitzel does have more varieties of food and more varieties of hot dogs, because that’s their trade. That’s their brand. Their prices cannot match the low prices of a Costco hot dog especially since you do get soda along with your hot dog.

So reasons why you should buy the Costco hot dog, there are many benefits. You could save money and it’s really enjoyable and it’s pretty convenient so you after you’re shopping you could go grab a quit bite and leave with a full stomach. That’s my presentation. Thank you.
