The Best Fastfood Fried Chicken “Popeyes”

Greetings. I’m going to be discussing on why Popeyes is the best fast-food fried chicken right now. You’re already considering this. Why are you even bothering on addressing this problem when there are much more relevant issues to the community and world. I understand that and all, but there is a reoccurring issue that itches me a lot even more than world class problems. To this day, many people like to troll label Popeyes as a secondary brand. They even do this in comparison to brands that just do worse in how they cook and present their foods, like Chick-fil-A.

Okay, don’t click off this post yet just because you’re already considering again, why is Popeyes better than Chick-fil-A, I have tried both places and honestly Chick-fil-A is much better and blah, blah, blah. You’re probably saying that right now, and I understand that, but there are some points I would like to argue and address that makes Popeyes in general a first rate brand, and additionally, a bit better than the average Chick-fil-A, and a brand of similar caliber. These points in this post will consist of Popeye’s best factors such as the rich batter, outstanding marketing, and the superior fried chicken sandwiches.

How To Make Perfect Popeyes Chicken At Home

Moving on to my first point, this probably might be arguably the best factor in Popeyes. Okay, you might say cool, it’s just the skin, what’s so special about it? Well, this is the skin! You order a box or bucket of chicken right, let’s say just say from an off-brand restaurant. When you dig into the chicken, the skin/batter is most likely going to be the first thing you will completely devour on. It’s literally going to be the first blow, the spearhead of the army, the first delivery.

Now if the skin is crap, that ruins the delivery of the chicken and since Popeyes has worked with effort and performance on their batter, it essentially enhances their chicken to be able to strike their customers dead. The batter they have worked hard to perfect is crispy, rich, concise, and savory in any manner that any other chicken fast foods won’t be able to achieve for themselves. And that’s why this is such a strong point to making Popeye’s a first rate brand or better than other average companies.

Furthermore, my second point to why Popeye’s is pristine is the outstanding marketing they have done. This is probably extremely important to why Popeye’s is so relevant and famous to the community. It is because their marketing is superior in many levels and commercial factors.

Alright, if you don’t understand and you want me to elaborate, here. Okay, you see a lot of chicken brands just simply throwing out ads and showcasing their foods. Cool, we get it, you want to flex your chicken, we probably most likely would just skip the ad to continue binge watching or something like that. Popeyes on the other hand, goes beyond the border of showcasing their foods. They put time and money into actually securing recipes of chickens that we fans enjoy today. I will be discussing that in a later paragraph on how originally they did not have some rights to some recipes, making it a very tricky legal matter for them.

Additionally, another factor relating to this, is that Popeyes actually took it upon themselves to do something really fun in the community, and that’s by causing trend. Now if you heard about the chicken wars between Popeyes and Chick-fil-A, you would know what I’m talking about. Popeyes actually had the guts to bust out the legendary chicken sandwich that many fans would kill for, and used it to compete with Chick-fil-A. In the end, you can see that it got them a lot of profit, fame, and even something I like to call, competitive advantage. Again, which I will be discussing this term in the later paragraphs.

Now for my last point, the second factor that can be arguably considered the best thing about Popeye’s is their superior fried chicken sandwiches. I don’t even think I gotta describe to you how significant these things are. If you consider Popeyes second-rate, which I personally don’t, at least don’t consider this second-rate. This is nirvana, heaven, the pinnacle of ascendance. With killer toasted buns, balanced ornaments, sauce, and a gorgeous bundle of rich and crispy chicken, it rips the competition without question. It should be first-first rate, if that even even exists.

Diverging away for a bit from my points, and onto something more structured and with inquiry related to my topic.

Why would Popeyes make enemies when they would get hate? Alright, this may seem rather awkward but it’s extremely relevant to how they advertise, even to the art of business.

To elaborate in the art of business, a lot of businessmen like the saying, “You don’t take risks if it doesn’t come with reward” and this is what they are doing here by making enemies and competing with a lot of popular brands.

They do get hate from a lot of brands and companies. Maybe from the fan base, maybe from you, maybe from people who just don’t like people, picking fights with other people, but in change of making enemies they have actually gained so much benefit. You know they caused a trend, they got a lot of popularity, fame, profit, and improvement steaming all from it.

In benefit, Popeyes is also getting an extremely important factor called competitive advantage because if you pull off an event like this and when you go to both restaurants and you try both sides of the dish, you’ll see that Popeye’s chicken sandwich is clearly so much better than the former. That customer will probably go to Popeyes again, and that’s the competitive advantage that they’re gaining over the nemesis in the long run, allowing them to possibly pull in new and more customers.

Why would Popeye’s invest a lot of their assets on securing recipes? Now I addressed this before. With you know, Popeyes unable to utilize some recipes that they didn’t own rightfully. Now to counter this they decide to pour over $50 million to secure these recipes, seeming like a financial downside. But by keeping these recipes, we fans get to continue to enjoy these recipes, and I’d say that in the long run I think they pulled off a good move. Additionally it allowed them to be more flexible with the recipes of what they could do. So, essentially, Popeyes had beneficially pulled themselves out of a hole that was dug for them.

Why would Popeyes implement new spices of change? Wouldn’t it drive them away from their authenticity? Back in the day, Popeyes used to be a run-down chicken gig, just selling what was on their name, chicken. I do like the concept that Popeyes used to be simple yet powerful with how they delivered with their basic chickens, it seems legendary. But with how they are growing, I believe that Popeyes is becoming something better than it’s ancestor-self, not losing its legendary touch. Instead of being the legendary chicken-gig it used to be in the past, it is now the legendary super-chicken colossal containing not just chicken, but many unique recipes, sides, and appetizers. They are engraving themselves a new history over their old history, creating a new legendary book for future generations to see how much they improved now in comparison to their newborn version.

I think it could be compared to the saying that if we read the same old books with the same type of plots, we would get bored of them. We always need something new in our lives.

Alright, that should wrap what I wanted to add on to my post, so we’re gonna move on to addressing a review made negatively on Popeyes.

“I heard Anthony Bourdain liked it so I tried it despite my sister’s warning. It smelled like dirty feet and tasted like what I imagine dirty feet taste like. I felt nauseous. Eating the biscuit helped because it tasted like a block of salt. I hate throwing food away and never do but had to make an exception. The food was toxic.”

I do understand that there are gonna some restaurant facilities that aren’t good in the bunch. There’s definitely going to be some bad needles in the haystack, but there are some good needles too. So by just stereotyping Popeyes with this type of description after going it to it JUST ONCE, makes this really generic.

Popeyes is so much more than nausea and dirty feet. The chicken is much more than how you described it. It’s moist, crispy, rich and powerful in all manners. I do get the sides in Popeyes need a bit work, but they still blend well with the chicken.

So to repeat my rebuttal, the food isn’t toxic. It’s probably your luck. So I suggest you try other restaurants in different local areas to get more of an actual feel for Popeyes, then you can address your actual opinion.

To summarize my post, my conclusion to this is that Popeyes isn’t second rate and no way in the heck that it is toxic or worse than Chick-fil-A. So if you believe otherwise, go to three different Popeyes restaurants and try the chicken and then tell me your opinion. Popeyes is a gem, they aren’t just a showcase, they are a miraculous bundle that provides pristine chicken, recipes, sides, and fun. I could give you a ton of more reasons on why Popeyes is on the top of the food-chain but I think you get the point. That’s all I got for you, I hope you enjoyed the post and the fact that you got to relive Popeyes once again.
