Are you hiding your inner-self?

The world has changed so much so fast throughout time and it’s time to really take a second to slow down. Take a deep breath, and think about yourself. What makes you happy? Is this the version of yourself you wanted to be when you were younger? Are you where you want to be? With so many cultures and backgrounds, it’s always truly humbling when I meet someone that is more experienced than me or from another culture.

All of this ties back to our childhood. Who were we back then? What made us happy then? It’s comprehendible because we had so much less conscientiousness then. I wanted for us to stray our minds away for a little bit and reminiscence on the past back to the days when everyone was 2-11 years old. At that time, the biggest problem was mom not packing the right lunch or whoever’s mom was the coolest packed them Luchables.

The pressure of society has ultimately made us all conform to it’s overwhelming pressure and in some retrospect it’s good to conform. Society is a makeup of millenniums of human trial and error and it’s best you don’t mess the whole thing up. Though when we were kids, that didn’t matter as much and we were free to act however we wanted to act. Are you happier now than you were as a kid? The point I’m getting at is it’s best at the end of the day to be yourself.

I know that’s cliché, but I’m expanding upon more than that. It’s about being able to humble yourself to rely on others, having reactionary emotions, and letting loose a little bit.

Following what you want to do at the day of the day is going to carry you across the finish line. When we hear all these stories about the world’s richest people, they didn’t do it for the money. When I sometimes listen to Kevin O’Leary and other wealthy people I always hear they didn’t do it for the money. They were doing something they loved to do and worked at it. The money just came along. Feel free to express yourself and let your innocence come out. It’ll relieve a big burden on you and then you’ll be really able to stand with your back straight and chin up.
