People have goals and dreams when they’re young. For me, I didn’t know what the purpose of having a dream was. What happens when you eventually reach it ? Do you feel satisfied ? My answer is no, I don’t. Satisfaction comes from doing the things you enjoy doing. They say “If you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life” I think its false because when you do what you work your life becomes your work. Happiness starts to fade over time with every hour. I don’t want that to happen to me in the future. I try new different hobbies that I think would make me happy like working out, going for a run, or trying out new food. However, everyday feels the same if you make it a routine.
I hate doing the same thing over and over. I like change, something new or exciting to happen in my life. I took my own time to look for a hobby that would satisfy my needs, and Airsoft was one of them. It gave me a thrill of what would happen if you were to go to war, but there wouldn’t be any consequences for your actions. It’s just like a game, you must have fun playing it. Life would be meaningless if there weren’t consequences though. It feels empty for every decision you make. I want to make my life impactful to others and hope they can sympathize. The journey I am going to take is gonna be difficult and I can foresee it. There’s gonna be no shortcuts, just a road with millions of pathways. To future me, I leave my present thoughts to you.
I love how you point out life has no meaning if it is perfect. To explore the imperfections is the interesting parts of it. GReat stuff.
