Becoming Healthy in Qurantine

Quarantine started back in March, I went home thinking I’d be back in the classroom taking a test in two weeks. Little did I know, my sophomore year would begin at home. During the past 6 months, I’ve done a lot, tried different workouts and diets. I hated it, until I started calorie counting a couple months ago. I eat 1,200 calories a day, which means I can pretty much eat whatever I want instead of having to eat salad and veggies 24/7. I have also started to look for my style, and a new music taste. I started wearing baggy clothes and have been wanting some shoes as well. These shoes though, are very expensive, so I have alternatives such as my Nike Blazers.

Me and my family try to go out as much as we can, meaning we go for walks at Mile Square Park, and play sports in our yard. I have gotten a lot closer with my siblings, but they’re still annoying. I try to get along with them over video games, but all they do is snitch, so it’s difficult. I also go on hikes at the beach which is a lot of fun when no one complains.

Well, that’s all I’ve done in the past 6 months, try to eat healthy, workout, try to get along with my siblings, and play video games. I really want to start reading more and watch some interesting documentaries and shows. But overall, I’ve enjoyed my time at home.
