4 days until school ends…

Normally every day during distance learning, I would wake up around 11 am. It felt really relaxing now that I didn’t have to wake up so early. I found myself finding it pretty easy to learn at home. My teachers also had many accessible resources that helped me along the way. I also liked how my teachers would give me a couple days to turn in an assignment, so I was able to organize and arrange my time efficiently. What I liked most about distance learning was that I had more free time to focus on my hobbies and interests. I was able to express myself more creatively than when I went to school. I used my extra time to draw, paint, walk around my neighborhood, and edit videos. I also listened to more music and felt more content with my days. I also found more time to educate myself on issues happening in the world and learning more about society. I really enjoyed online school overall.

Sometimes during distance learning, I would lose motivation to do my assignments. I felt conflicted to do homework sometimes because I had freedom to do something else that I thought was more amusing. I also forgot about some assignments. I would remember last minute and rush to finish it before it was due. What I hope adults do during fall of 2020 is just to be patient and understanding of everything that is going on with students. It will definitely be hard to adjust to new changes, but I believe we are all trying our best. Distance learning was a new experience that helped me provide a new perspective on a lot of things in my life and I’m curious to how the next school year will be.

Below are video clips in where I mixed different clips to make a remix of my own.
