This quarantine has opened up free time for me to do anything I want. I chose to play videogames with my friends from school. I wake up to the calls and text messages from my friends, urging me to get on. From sunrise to sunset, you can find me at my computer setup grinding missions to unlock a new character.

There is not a specific game I prefer to play. It is almost as if the presence of my friends is enough to carry me throughout the day. I’ve played countless game titles from Minecraft to Call of Duty, all with the same squad.

Aside from gaming, I also collaborate with my friends whenever there is a homework assignment due. The main source of communication we use is an application called Discord. Similar to Skype, Discord is an application that allows people to call each other on the computer. With the endless assignments being assigned by our teachers, My friends and I work together to stay on track with homework.

When I’m bored I hop into a game with the boys. When I’m sad I talk to the boys. When I’m hyper, I joke around with the boys. This quarantine has mainly been spent with the boys.
