The Quarantine Experience

In the beginning of quarantine, I had a set flow, where I’d do things within different time sets. Though my laziness has begun to show, as now I had just been setting everything back and waking up later in the day. However this all changed last week, when I read an essay which delved upon the importance of eating with family. It made me rethink how I was going about life, in a sense that time passes with no remorse for anything. So, I should make the most of this time with my family and enjoy eating with them be it breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Rather than missing out on most meals and maybe eating with them for dinner. Since, in the essay I learned how just eating with family strengthens the bonds between one another. Furthermore it’s a time to let out the stress from the day, and make others cheerful. So like this, making this small change really helped me experience something wonderful during this quarantine. I’ve been able to hold conversations with my dad now, and learn new things from him, on either history or even news. Moreover, now my sleep schedule is more set in stone, rather than me sometimes staying up really late, and waking up in the late afternoon. Lastly, if I was to tell someone what I’ve gained from this quarantine experience, it’s that they shouldn’t let the time run down, make use of it to get to know your family better, as they’re the ones that will always be there for you.
