During this time, I’ve found myself doing nothing for the most part. As the days go by, there are less and less things to do. But with more time on my hands, I tried creating a new routine for myself while rekindling old hobbies.
My sister and I have been baking a lot. During this quarantine we’ve made brownies, banana bread, carrot cake, lemon cake, banana nut muffins, and chocolate chip cookies. Baking is a fun way to pass time while being able to eat something delicious at the end of it. I’ve also been watching a lot of movies. The most recent movie I watched was Snowpiercer. Written and directed by Bong Joon Ho, I found it to be one of the most interesting and unique movies I’ve watched. I definitely recommend this movie as it includes many twists and turns to the plot. Full of hidden messages and symbols this movie’s ending got me thinking for days. Another movie I watched was Onward. Although it was a fictional movie, it was one of the most relatable and real movies I’ve watched. It might only seem like an animated movie to others, but I really connected with it.
Coming into this quarantine lifestyle, I was very bummed. I wasn’t able to see my friends and take part in the many activities I had planned to do. I really felt like a bean, doing nothing everyday. But now, I’ve learned to make the best of every situation. Although I do get stressed out from school, I have been spending quality time with my family and putting myself first.

I feel like quarantine is all about cooking/baking! Also, love movies with twists so i will definitely check your recommendation

Based on the movies you’ve enjoyed I wonder if you’ve seen The Matrix, and I also wonder if you have watched the anime Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade?

Also have you ever watched this short EPSN basketball documentary? It’s moody and it’s good.
